The Border Collie is a herding breed developed in the Anglo-Scottish border region for herding livestock, especially sheep. Border Collies are extremely energetic, acrobatic, and athletic. They frequently compete with great success in dog sports including: fly ball and K-9 agility, these are in addition to their emmense success in sheepdog trials. Border Collies are often cited as the most intelligent breed of dog in the world.

Our family dog ‘Dot’ was bred for the first time 2011! She produced seven happy purebred pups which have all been relocated to their new homes. We bred Dot becuase she has a quiet disposition; we also love that she is incredibly loyal, loving and an a good working dog. Dot is content to be outside with the sheep or inside curled up with us in the living room or in front of the wood stove. We have never owned a dog as friendly, loving, loyal and fun as our Dot.
